When we speak about females in Hip Hop, a lot of times we forget to mention Lil Mama. When she stepped on the scene in 2007, with her lead single Lipgloss all the girls went crazy. The song featured a sample from the legendary Roxanne Shante's "Roxanne's Revenge". Not sure if you guys remember but "Lipgloss" was definitely a summer anthem. Fast forward, 2021 Texas' new comer Big Jade uses that same beat to talk her shit. Check it out below:
