Hailing from the city that never sleeps comes a duo like no other. The Pendashians are made up of singer/song writer Lenisha and rapper/song writer Saki Bomb. Although, at the time the duo didn't know each other, they both gained a love for music at an early age. Lenisha singing in her church's choir and Saki writing songs in her family's studio at the young age of 7. Lenisha's musical inspiration comes from people like Mary J. Blidge, Faith Evans and R.Kelly. While Saki's musical inspiration comes from people like Jay-z, Lil Kim, Foxy Brown, Lauryn Hill and Eve. Put the two inspirations together and your destined for greatness. Lenisha originally gained Saki's attention through a song she had written for Starz's "Power". The two connected on Instagram but never had a conversation following the initial follow. Ironically, not long after Lenisha and Saki met in person at Warner Chapell through a mutual connection while working on solo songs for other artists. The duo quickly realized that alone they are great writers but together their talent is untouchable. The two decided to enter I Standard's IWRITE Songwriter competition as a group and won 1st place. They are now headed to Atlanta for the Power Of The Pen show in December. The two continue to grow as a duo and can only go up from here.
