Vae Vanillla appeared on my radar not too long ago and she hasn't left my sight. If you know me you know that I love the Detroit music scene. When I first heard Vae Vanilla, I was taken aback because I haven't heard of a girl as talented coming from Detroit since Molly Brazy about 6 years ago. The two actually have a song together on Molly's latest project 17 Molly under Coach Joey's 4746 Global. But, Vae Vanilla got my attention on her own when she dropped her video "Bulletproof" in early 2022. Following up with "Lawsuit" and a project entitled Vanilla Visas, talking exactly what I like to hear. Apparently, while I was getting hip to Vae, she was going viral on TikTok for her verse on BangThatShit produced single "R.O.D" with Jai Lanai. Ultimately, landing her on the NYC-based platform "On The Radar". At the beginning of this year, Vae decided to show new fans the softer side of her; releasing a new single "Like What I Like". Followed by her Heartless Romantic 2 EP right before Valentine's Day. Last month, Vae Vanilla linked up with fellow Detroit natives Pretty Brayah and Brooklyn Queen. Vae Vanilla is obviously a "Girl's Girl" and has no problem linking up with the girls. In the past, she has also collaborated with other girls like 504 Icygrl, Nique Dior, Neisha Neshae, and more. Is she currently the coldest coming out of Michigan?
