Is Noelle Kay Capable Of Bringing Back Real R&B?

It seems like every time I turn around music lovers everywhere are questioning the state of R&B. Claiming that new school R&B acts, not only lack the talent vocally but the content to keep us engaged like ones of the 90s and early 2000s. Although, I can agree in certain aspects I do believe we have some hidden gems that we sometimes forget to shed light on. Singer, Songwriter and Emerging star Noelle Kay being one of them.

Hailing from the The Bronx section of New York City, Noelle began her musically journey at the young age of 7. Performing in many school plays and talent competitions. Ultimately, landing her at Laguardia's High school for performing arts. There, Noelle would major in Drama while exploring her vocal talents as she created with her peers. In 2013 Noelle launched her very first single "Ready". Quickly, gaining loyal fans that would become #TeamNoelleKay. Inspired by a family of musicians, Noelle Kay has a unique style of music that would still be respected by the legends she admires like Anita Baker, Whitney Houston, Usher and Brandy but still relevant to compete with her favorites of today like Teyana Taylor, SZA, Rihanna and Jazmine Sullivan. A combination, I believe most R&B acts lack today.

About a month ago, Noelle linked with Harlem's Kiing Strong for a very nostalgic video "Fallin' In Luv". Now, she is back with her very own new single "Unbreakable". Listen below:
