During her Queen Radio broadcast on March 3rd, the renowned rapper revealed some exciting news! In doing so, Nicki announced the launch of her new ladies-led record company. While hinting at the signing of a host of hot hitmakers. In announcing the establishment of her new label, she names the rising rostered rhymers, which include Nana Fofie, Tate Kobang, Rico Danna, and London Hill.
Shortly later, Nicki Minaj revealed details about her most recent endeavor when appearing on Queen Radio via the Amazon AMP app April 13th. Recent rumors reported that the “Princess Diana” femcee recently inked a deal with the Queen. But in fact, the reports were premature.
In fact, the rumors were true to an extent! Ice Spice recently signed a partnership under Nicki Minaj’s new label, Heavy On It, which she just announced on Queen Radio. After the announcement, the “Queen” and “Princess” of rap dropped the visuals for their new collaboration, “Princess Diana (Remix)”. Although she didn’t reveal the Heavy On It Records label name at the time of her announcement, it appears that the “Princess Diana” remix has given away their new found agreement.
Ice Spice Is The Modern Day "Princess Diana"
The original version of the raved record first appeared on the newcomer's EP Like…?, and now the self-proclaimed 'People's Princess' has added a fresh take with a collaborative incarnation with the Queen of Rap herself. Fresh from the releasing of the record, the dynamic duo dropped off more deliverables for the trendy track.
The release of the remix arrives after Nicki’s announcement. In which she later confirmed that Ice Spice would be partnering with her.
“Heavy On It is the label, and I’m proud to announce my partnership with the one and only Ice Spice”.
Their cutting-edge, trendy track "Princess Diana" remix is correspondingly co-distributed by their new alliance under Nicki's innovative new record label, Heavy On It Records. Moreover, the track's collaboration with Heavy On It, 10K Projects, and Capitol Records is disclosed in the Apple Music description. While the latter two belong to Ice Spice, Nicki's confirmation on Twitter practically confirms that Heavy On It is indeed her label.
Additionally, Minaj added her longtime affiliate Patty Lauren, also known as Patty Duke, as having an A&R position at the new label. As for her latest solo single, The Queen of Rap’s first installment of 2023 serves as, “Red Ruby Da Sleeze,” courtesy of Young Money/Republic. It marks her first solo song since last year’s Billboard Hot 100-topping smash “Super Freaky Girl”. In addition, Minaj stated that a range of musical performers will be featured on her new record company.
"Don't imagine that my label is only Black or rap-related... We have some music in other genres”.

Ice Spice and Nicki Minaj Land No.1 On YouTube With Groundbreaking Views
With the new remix for Ice Spice's sizzling single “Princess Diana”, Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice are now trending at No. 1 on YouTube! The song swept several charts immediately following the release of its official Pretty, Pink, and Princess Diana-inspired visual. Even with the new popular partnership, the “Like?…” breakout star however, will not be leaving her previous label to join Nicki's, but will instead collaborate with them on projects.
As for the visuals, Ice Spice and Nicki Minaj come in smoking hot bringing the heat with the vibrant visuals for the hyper-hot remix. Within its first 12 hours of its unveiling, the video amassed over 10M viewers. It now stands at 13M views and continuously climbing! Many may not know, but the visual sparked controversy from critics. Barbz and the BeyHive alike felt as though Nicki remade the reflective scene of her and Beyoncé in their “Feelin Myself” visual.
