Sizzy, the talented artist hailing from Chicago, originally caught my attention about a year ago. Once I looked her up, I realized she had collaborated with fellow Chicago rapper Mello Buckz on the track "Pressure." The synergy between the two artists in this collaboration evoked a sense of nostalgia, reminiscent of the impactful emergence of Katie Bandz with "Pop Out" back in 2013.
As I began to watch, Sizzy's journey it became evident that she was somebody that we should all be watching. Despite consistently impressing with her releases, It’s perplexing that A&R teams haven't signed her yet; I believe this is a significant reason why many labels are struggling financially—waiting too long to invest in quality artists while jumping on viral sensations too quickly.
Sizzy's clever lyrics, captivating beauty, and undeniable talent is the complete package for an artist on the brink of stardom. The anticipation for her upcoming mixtape continues to grow. In an industry saturated with fleeting trends, I hope Sizzy's artistry stands as a testament that illustrates the power of genuine talent, creativity and hardwork in the music world.
