Envy Caine appeared on my radar about a year ago when he released a video entitled "Target Practice"; where he took shots at fellow Brooklyn rappers. Since then I've became not only a supporter but a listener of his music. During this time, I've observed that aside from the drill and shoot em up songs; Envy Caine is actually a very talented lyricist. All over the internet, you can find Hip Hop fans arguing about Envy Caine being the most talented but underrated artist coming out of Brooklyn. Now, I'm not sure what his charges are but a few weeks ago a picture surfaced of him in federal prison. Fans immediately went into a frenzy commenting and reposting "Free Coke". A few days later, his Instagram also announced that he would be releasing an EP titled "The Reason". The 7 track EP was released on Friday; "Full Of Sin" featuring PNV Jay and "Trivia" being my favorite songs. Listen below and tell me your favorites:
