To most, Asian Doll is one of the more problematic female rappers. To me, Asian Doll is the creator of a movement of Gangsta Doll rappers that came following Nicki Minaj. Originally appearing on my radar about 5,6 years ago in colored hair, platform shoes alongside a choppa and Cuban Doll. Unlike many female rappers that were popular around that time, Asian Doll remained consistent and kept herself relevant over the years. Thus, when talk came about the "Queen Of Drill" in 2021; I could only agree that Asian was truly one of the originators of female drill music. Last week, Asian dropped highly anticipated project "Let's Do A Drill". Overall, I've seen nothing but great reviews on the project. Features include people like Tay Money, Ivorian Dolla, Sosa Geek, Shani Boni, Jenn Carter, Miah Kenzo, Iffy Foreign and more.
