Hailing from the birthplace of Biggie and Jay-z comes Manolo Rose. The rapper and producer is known for his witty lyrics, catchy hooks and fiery beats. Manolo Rose is definitely an all around artist. He first appeared on the scene for his "Dope Man" track that later became Troy Ave's "All About The Money". Manolo Rose continued to focus on the music releasing "Run Ricky Run" in 2015. That track was the single that familiarized me with him as an artist. I actually had the pleasure of interviewing him about the track and we also spoke about deals on the table and the rap scene in New York. At the time, many people doubted the state of Hip Hop and where it was going but Manolo Rose believed in it. He said that Hip Hop was art and art never dies. Today, he is signed to Def Jam Records and Roc Nation. He recently released the official video to his single "I Get Money".
