LMCC- How did you start rapping?
MD-I started rapping when I was young, probably around 8 years old. When I first started I would just be playing around and acting like I could actually rap. When I was 10 I took two tape cassette players. On one of the tape players I played the Mase and Puffy "Cant nobody hold me down" instrumental and on the other one I put a blank tape in and pressed record. I recorded my first song wit my two cousins and it was on ever since.
LMCC- I'm a New York native so the song "Bumping Biggie" really intrigues me, what inspired it?
MD- Well Bumping Biggie really just came naturally. The way I create songs is a pretty organic process. I kinda listen to the music and let it speak to me. So with the Bumping Biggie joint, those were the words that I heard over the music. Initially I wrote 3 different verses. But I went back and created a completely different version in an attempt to make the record doper. From there I decided that I would release it on March 9th to pay respect and in celebration of the 18th anniversary of his home going.
LMCC -Who would you say is your musical inspiration?
MD - I have many musical inspirations. For instance I'm inspired to make music buy a lot of different things. If I had to pick a musician that Inspires me most it would definitely be Tupac.
LMCC - What do you think the rap game lacks today?
MD - I believe the game is good. Its a lot of dope music out here. You just gotta find it you know. I do wish mainstream hip hop would give music wit positive messages more shine though. We need more light.

MD - My perspective, my creativity and my flow. I have an original sound, and I'm a lot more honest than a lot of other rappers.
LMCC- Who would you say is your biggest competition?
MD- My self. Its my personal aim to always get better. Not just at making music but at life. Only I can get it my way if I allow my self to..

LMCC- If you had to choose between true love and being exactly where you wanted to be in your career, what would you choose?
MD- Right now, my Career... I would hope that true love came along the way sometime after lol. The importance of the message in my music reaching the masses is vital though...
LMCC- If you had 24 hours to live what would you do?
MD- I would record a song. Spend some time with my daughter (my family in general). If I have an appetite I'll have mom dukes cook up some oxtails.. Then I'll spend sometime in prayer and get ready to die.
