If you're like me you thought the relationship between Lil Wayne and Birdman was unbreakable. I mean who wouldn't after the whole kissing scenario. But apparently the two aren't as close as we thought. Lil Wayne took it to twitter today to express his emotions:
“To all my fans, I want u to know that my album won’t and hasn’t been released bekuz Baby & Cash Money Rec. refuse to release it. This is not my fault. I am truly and deeply sorry to all my fans but most of all to myself and my family for putting us in this situation. I want off this label and nothing to do with these people but unfortunately it ain’t that easy. I am a prisoner and so is my creativity. Again, I am truly sorry and I don’t blame ya if ya fed up with waiting 4 me & this album. But thk u.”
Now, I'm not sure if that was the appropriate thing to doing knowing their history but it seems like expressing yourself on twitter is the thing to do these days. Now, if you remember last month Tyga made the same allegations about the label.... Hmmmmm, what's up with holding back the albums?
Anyways, Pusha T took this oppurtunity to invite Wayne over to G.O.O.D Music tweeting:
